Nikita Rozanov

Visiting Citizen Scientist

Nikita is an engineer with three years of experience in the semiconductor and information technology industries. He became interested in computer modeling proteins and molecules as an undergraduate at Oregon State University. During his time there, he applied computational chemistry methods to understand how fluorescent proteins behave. Nikita also served as a visiting researcher at Johns Hopkins University, where he developed molecular dynamics simulations to predict how nanoparticles interact with proteins.

Since graduating in 2019, Nikita has wanted to apply his experience in molecular modeling for an important purpose. He is excited to combine computer science, engineering, and biochemistry to model protein-drug interactions at cc-TDI.
