Elena Bliss is from South Hadley, MA, and the proud mother of Brittney Bliss, who passed away from Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 5 in 2023. In Brittney’s honor, Elena founded The Brittney Project with cc-TDI and established Brittney’s Believers, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting both childhood cancer research at cc-TDI and families facing pediatric cancer.
Elena works in MRI and is deeply committed to advocacy, particularly in pushing for increased childhood cancer research funding at both the state and federal level. Her mission is to advance research for cancers like Brittney’s, with the hope of driving meaningful change.
By turning her love and grief into purpose, Elena channels her energy into fundraising, advocacy, and connection. Having witnessed firsthand the impact of childhood cancer, she brings a powerful perspective to the board and a relentless drive to ensure that no family walks this journey alone.
