Wilms’ Tumor Webinar

Sometimes our team members are toiling away on behalf of perfect strangers. And sometimes they have a close, personal connection to the work they’re doing. This may never have been more true than in the case of Andy Woods, whose oldest daughter, Stella, is an anaplastic Wilms’ tumor survivor. Stella’s diagnosis and treatment lead Andy to make a mid-life career transition into cancer research. As part of his ongoing work at the lab, Andy recently gave a live webinar of his Community- and Foundation-supported Wilms’ tumor research. Andy’s enthusiasm has been described as contagious and we’re lucky to have him on our team.
