Welcoming Zia

 We are excited to welcome Zia to our 2016 Summer Intern Team! About Zia: “I am a freshman at Lincoln High School. I became interested in cancer research after my battle with leukemia when I was child. I have since done an internship with cc-TDI in 2015 that explored promoting cellular differentiation in Rhabdomyosarcoma as a cancer treatment, and I participated in a cc-TDI pediatric nanocourse that outlined a roadmap for Xp11 childhood kidney tumors. I hope to pursue some aspect of medicine in the future. In my free time, I enjoy playing lacrosse, running, and spending time with friends.
