Unravelling Pediatric Cancer

Today we extend immense gratitude for Unravel Pediatric Cancer’s generous gift of $14,000 in support of Andy Wood’s research seeking more effective and less toxic treatments for children with anaplastic Wilm’s tumor.  Partnerships like these brings us one step closer to our mission of making all forms of childhood cancer survivable. When Andy’s 4-year-old daughter was diagnosed with anaplastic Wilm’s tumor, he made it his personal mission to attempt to provide more-promising treatment options for children suffering from rare cancers.  So he became an expert in his daughter’s disease and now he is leading this important initiative at cc-TDI.  To learn more about Andy’s story and his work, watch this incredible video. Founded by Libby and Tony Kranz after losing their daughter, Jennifer, to a uniformly fatal brain cancer called DIPG, Unravel Pediatric Cancer supports research that investigates the causes and mechanisms of pediatric cancer, helps develop more effective and less toxic treatments that will, ultimately, lead to a cure.
