NCI funds Rhabdomyosarcoma Project

We are particularly excited to begin our five-year R01 project Cytokine- and Satellite Cell-mediated Muscle Disease Promotion, recently funded by the National Cancer Institute.  The goal?  Understanding the role of normal muscle stem cells in cancer, and on the other hand testing a therapy that may prevent cancer from spreading to lymph nodes and elsewhere in the body.
