Shefali Chauhan is a senior research scientist at cc-TDI. She completed her undergrad degree from India. She earned her master’s degree in molecular biology (Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, OR) where she studied gene regulation under oxidative stress conditions in Bacillus subtilis bacteria. Her PhD was in the field of biochemistry (Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, OR) with Dr Ninian Blackburn as her advisor. The doctoral research involved studying the kinetics of a copper containing metalloenzyme using various spectroscopic techniques.
