John is a seasoned technology executive and passionate advocate for pediatric cancer research. His journey began in 2009 when his son Brock was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, a rare childhood kidney cancer. Fortunately, Brock shows no evidence of disease and is currently studying biomedical engineering, inspired by a high school visit and internship at cc-TDI.
The pediatric cancer experience with Brock has reshaped the family’s purpose. John and his wife Wendy have committed themselves to advancing innovative, compassionate support for children and families navigating cancer treatment.
Professionally, John serves as Director of Artificial Intelligence and Business Transformation at Microsoft. Over his 28-year career, he has led global initiatives and product launches across Xbox, Surface, Windows Client, and emerging markets. His work has focused on expanding access to technology, driving innovation, and transforming business operations worldwide.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from Westminster University. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife and two children.
